THE PAIN OF THE PUMPS STRETCHES ON .........

The cost of living continues to shoot up in major towns countrywide with the effect being felt by all wananchi... the recent shocker is the scarcity of the most precious commodity which is fuel. an across check in Eldoret town showed the same image portrayed countrywide leading most of the citizens to ponder on what to do next......

In Eldoret town companies such as the Kenya Pipeline corporation  among others could be seen filling their barrels in various petrol stations in a bid to probably have a stock of the scarce commodity before things turn hay way.

Following president Kibaki's directive yesterday urging the key players in the oil industry to act fast over the issue to prevent more suffering, Kenyans are now watching with their eyes wide on the measures to be undertaken to salvage the looming crisis.

THE ELUSIVE RAINDROPS OF THE GREEN FIELDS

My entry to this green society was generally not complete without the warm/chilly welcome of the raindrops.. it looked like i was in a territory of raindrops... what fascinates me about this awesome place is its flora and fauna of the green bed, the residents themselves wear an optimistic face as many could be seen early in the morning rushing to the fields to pick the most precious and adored commodity (tea).

the town host a population of more than 100, 000 people who either have businesses around or visit the place, life generally is just the same as other towns in Kenya with the most untapped field being hotels... a scan around the town proved to me that most people are so much into the transport sector and sales but not much to boast about in the hotels.
